Nyanza province in western Kenya is one of the poorest areas in Kenya resulting in many orphans and widows due to the prevalence of HIV-Aids, malaria, and tuberculosis. Most people live below the poverty line of $1 per day.

Who we are and what we do.
Save -A- Village, Kenya is an humanitarian-aid organization whose mission is to promote community development and rehabilitation projects in rural villages of Nyanza Province by assisting the villagers to attain:
- Clean Water
- Adequate Nutritious Food
- Improved education through both improved facilities and teaching
- Improved access to medical resources and facilities
- Guidance and assistance in starting small business
The Ultimate Goal is Self-sustainability for the villagers.
Our Partnership with Emmanuel Foundation
We are proud to announce that SAV has been accepted as a Canadian-based partner in International Community Development, with The Emmanuel Foundation For Recreation & Education Development www.efoundation.ca. EF has donated state-of-the-art playground equipment for our villages in Kenya in the past. They have personally visited our community development project and are very supportive of our work. We are very proud to be in partnership with them.
Under the Emmanuel Foundation umbrella, a federally registered Non-profit Charitable Organization, EF will oversee our SAV project and they will also provide you, directly, with a tax receipt for your donations to Save-A-Village, Kenya.
Where does the money go?
100% of your donation will go towards our target mission in Nyanza Province
We have no paid staff, no administration costs, and our very small operation costs are paid through our memberships and generous personal subsidies by our own dedicated Board Members.
